What Google Algorithm Code Looks Like

People have spent years trying to re-engineer the Google Algorithm, only to find that as soon as they think they have started figuring out the secrets, Google changes its Algorithm and they have to start again from scratch.

As most programmers know, that having lean and economical code makes programs execute faster, so programmers are always trying to make less code do more. And this is basically what differentiates a good programmer from a poor one. The programmer who can code short and sweet is better than a programmer whose code is longer then it needs to be.

I have observed that when anyone conducts a search in Google, it only takes a friction of a second to pull up the results. So the question is “How can Google execute the query so fast?”

Answer is simple, Google Algorithm is maybe less than 1 page long. All the filters like the Page Rank, Sand Box just to name a few would be an additional 2 pages. So the complete code, could be about 3 pages long.

Google could also be using their own low level programming language which could be similar to the Assembly Language for programming so their code is incredibly fast.

The Databases that fuel the Google Machine could all be residing in Indexes created in Random Access Memory, Flash Memory and super fast Hard Disks.

It is common knowledge, that Google uses special hardware and software which is optimized to execute its code and algorithm. So the processors and all the hardware is optimized to execute the Google Algorithm.

So the Google Algorithm is not 300 or 3000 pages long, but maybe 3 pages long.
