Moving Webhosting to new server
Just a note to all my clients
that I am phasing out one of my old website hosting server and replacing it with a new and improved server.
Clients were complaining of email problems on the old server and as the old server was more than 3 years old so the hardware had completed its time.
so I took the opportunity of moving all client websites to the new server.
Basically backups were taken through cpanel and restored on the new server.
then after checking the site on the new server, the DNS entries for the website was updated with the nameserver of the new server.
The DNS update can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours around the world.
the website continue to function, there is virtually no down time, some clients might face some problems with the new server, I am trying my best to cause the least disturbance to the clients.
there are still a few websites left, these are the ones I do not control the domains so updating the dns for these are a little difficult.
I am working 18/7 to make sure everything goes smoothly.
