Upgrading Windows, from 1.0 to 7.0
Watch as some guy upgrades his computer through every version of Windows, from 1985′s Windows 1.0 to the present-day Windows 7.
Watch as a modern PC gets Windows 1.0 installed, and upgraded through every major version up to Windows 7. Not sure what’s more amazing; that this screencast is possible today in a VMware virtual machine, or that applications installed in Windows 3.1 still worked through every upgrade to Windows 7, representing nearly 20 years of compatibility.
I started using dos 3.2 back in 89, then 3.1 then 95, 98, 98 se, windows nt, windows 2000, windows xp, then windows 7. Never liked vista because of poor support for older drivers.
